Customized Treatments
We customize our treatments to meet your specific needs by incorporating a variety of assessment and treatment techniques to assist you in reaching your optimal potential for everyday activities. We are trained in treating your physician’s prescription referrals for medical massage therapy, including lymphedema, orthopaedic and soft tissue treatments.
Your Work at Home
We provide you with helpful knowledge on self-administered pain management in hydrotherapy, stretching, and strengthening techniques that you can implement in-between your appointments. We may also recommend heat or cold therapy, which will help you get the most from of each treatment.
Direct Billing to Insurance Companies
Our Registered Massage Therapists are recognized by all insurance companies. We offer our patients the convenience of direct billing. This means that you only pay your percentage for each treatment that your insurance requires you to pay. (This varies according to individual insurance plans. For example: if you have 80% coverage through your private insurance plan, you only pay the 20% of the cost of your treatment.) Our administration staff will take care of the rest for you.
Training Facility for Student Massage Therapists
Morden Massage Therapy Centre is a training facility for students entering the massage therapy profession as they complete their clinical/practicum hours of training. The general public can benefit from these training sessions by booking appointments with a student massage therapist. The students benefit from working in a professional clinic setting. You, the patient, benefit by receiving an excellent massage treatment at a minimal cost. A professional is always on staff to assist the students or answer any questions you may have.
